The Bear Movement

What makes someone a bear? That's a question lots of people ask. In brief, a bear is a hairy and/or bearded man. But it is also more than that. The Bear Movement is partly about affirmation and breaking gay stereotypes. A man doesn't need to fit other peoples ideas of who he should be. He can be hairy or bearded or over-weight and that's OK. Not only that, there are men out there who will love him for what he is.
